9. Objectives:
• To
know some of the sciences of Quran that are assigned in the syllabus: The
meaning of revealing Quran, its revelations, the reason for the revelation,
abrogation, the miracle of Quran, introduction to the rules and the roots of
explaining Quran, the indicative meaning in the Quranic text, the seven
readings of Quran, the codification of the Holy Quran, the collection of
Qur’an, and the translation of the Holy Quran.
• To
review the opinions of the scholars in all problems, their deduction, their
preferences, and know their methodologies in these sciences.
• To
acquire skills and get trained on pondering, citing, stating preference and
deducting from the Holy Quran.

• أن يعرف الطالب طرفاً من علوم القرآن
المقررة في المنهج: معنى نزول القرآن، تنزّلاته، أسباب النزول، النسخ، إعجاز
القرآن، مقدمة في قواعد التفسير وأصوله، دلالة النص القرآني، نزول القرآن على سبعة
أحرف، كتابة المصاحف، جمع القرآن، ترجمة القرآن الكريم.
• أن يطّلع على آراء العلماء في كل
المسائل، واستدلالاتهم وترجيحاتهم، ويقف على مناهجهم في تقرير تلك العلوم.
• أن يتزود بقدرات، ويتدرب على النظر
والاستدلال والترجيح والاستنباط من القرآن الكريم

outcomes:
After the completion of this subject, the student
will be able to:
• Explain
the problems of Ulum al Qur'an that are assigned in this syllabus, the meaning
of revealing Quran, its revelations, the reason for the revelation, abrogation,
the miracle of Quran, introduction to the rules and the roots of explaining
Quran, the indicative meaning in the Quranic text, the seven readings of Quran,
the codification of the Holy Quran, the collection of Qur’an, and the
translation of the Holy Quran.
• To
present the opinions and the citations of the scholars, and know their
methodologies
in addressing Ulum al Qur'an.
• To
deduct from Quran some of the deep meanings of Sharia using his/her skill that
qualifies him/her to deduct, state preference, and deduct in respect to
the studied scholars’
methodologies.

نزول القرآن على سبعة أحرف. كتابة المصاحف وجمع القرآن، ترجمة القرآن الكريم..
• يعرض أقوال العلماء واستدلالاتهم،
ويعرِّف مناهجهم في تقرير علوم القرآن.
• يستنبط من القرآن الكريم بعض أسرار
الشريعة، لما أصبح لديه من ملكة تؤهّله للنظر والاستدلال والترجيح والاستنباط، على
ضوء ما درسه من مناهج أهل العلم.

modern schools, in the light of the scientific experience he/she acquired.

first hundred years A.H to the modern age. Tafsir during the prophet time,
peace and mercy be upon him, his companions and his followers. Tafsir by
Ma’thoor (transmitted): its methodology, the most famous scholars who wrote about it, Mufassireen by opinion: their
methodology, their most famous books,
the Mufassireen of Mutazela , the
shia, Al Kawarj, Sufi and their
methodologies in explaining Quran.The philosophic Tafsir, the Fiqhi Tafsir, the scientific Tafsir, Tafsir and its types in the modern age.
