SCHOOL RULES.

This Regulation is established by the School Council.
Its goals are:

to ensure the safety of all and the proper functioning of the school.
to state rules of life in common.

1. ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION.

1.1 Admission to elementary school:

Must be presented at the elementary school, at the beginning of the school year, the children who are six years old on December 31 of the current year.

The principal proceeds to admission to elementary school upon presentation by the family:

a civil status record or the family record book
health record certifying that the child has undergone compulsory vaccinations
certificate of registration issued by the mayor of the municipality.
Education is compulsory for both French and foreign children.

1.2 Provisions:

In the event of a change of school, a radiation certificate from the school of origin must be presented.

2. ATTENDANCE AND SCHOOL OBLIGATION.

2.1 Regular attendance at elementary school is compulsory.

2.2 Absences:

If a child is absent, the families must inform the principal as soon as possible.
At the written request of the parents, the school director may, exceptionally and in case of necessity, authorize the student to be absent from school time, provided that he / she is accompanied.
If the steps established in the direction of the student are not effective, if his attendance is not restored, the director sends the student's file to the inspector of Academy.


2.3 Timetables and arrangement of school time:

School entrance and exit times are:
8:45 am to 11:45 am and 1:45 pm to 4:45 pm

3. SCHOOL LIFE.

3.1 Respect for secularism:

Wearing signs or uniforms by which students ostensibly manifest religious affiliation is prohibited.

3.2 General provisions:

Proper attire is required.
Students and families must refrain from any behavior, gesture or word that would undermine the function or the person of the teacher, the respect due to their peers or their families.
The teacher forbids any behavior, gesture or word that would reflect indifference or contempt towards the pupil or his family.
3.3 Rewards and sanctions:

The teacher must obtain from each pupil a job to the extent of his abilities.
When the student's behavior seriously disturbs the functioning of the class in a lasting manner, he or she may be isolated or even deprived of part of the break.
Failure to respect the school's rules of procedure and, in particular, any infringement of the physical or moral integrity of other students or teachers may give rise to reprimands which are, as the case may be, brought to the attention of the families.
In the case of particularly serious difficulties affecting the behavior of the student in his school environment, his situation will be subject to the examination of the educational team, which will involve the doctor in charge of school medical control and a member of the network of specialized aids.
If after a period of one month no improvement has been made to the behavior of the child, a school change decision may be made by the Inspector of National Education, on the proposal of the Director and after consulting the school council.

3.4 Use of the Internet:

A charter of use of the Internet is annexed to the rules of procedure. It contracts the use of the Internet in the school.

4. USE OF PREMISES- HYGIENE AND SAFETY.

4.1 Use of premises - Responsibility:

All school premises are entrusted to the Director, responsible for the safety of persons and property.

The maintenance of the equipment of school premises, teaching materials and school archives is carried out by the educational team in cooperation with the municipal services.

4.2 Reception of children with health problems:

Admission to school for children and adolescents with health problems is carried out in accordance with the procedures defined in Circular No. 2003-135 of 8 September 2003.
Exceptionally, a student who must follow a medical prescription during school hours, must give the teacher a copy of the registered, quantitative, signed and dated medical prescription, as well as the drugs labeled in his name.


4.3 Security:

Security exercises take place several times a year (fire alarm and major risks).

4.4 Special provisions:

It is forbidden to bring to school:
knives or sharp objects;
valuables;
games ;
money :
It is forbidden to enter the premises of the school without being authorized by law or regulation or having been authorized by the competent authorities.
At the end of classes (11:45 am and 4:45 pm) children are under the responsibility of their parents including the school grounds (lawns, driveway) and any return to the buildings is strictly prohibited.

5. MONITORING.

5.1 Student supervision is continuous and continuous, taking into account the distribution of the premises and the nature of the proposed activities.

5.2 Special monitoring arrangements:

The reception of the pupils is assured ten minutes before the entry in class.
The supervision of the playgrounds is ensured by two teachers.

5.3 Reception and transfer of students to families:

Children are returned to their families at 11:45 am and 4:45 pm unless they are taken care of by a day care or canteen service. In these two cases, the teacher will entrust them to the managers of these structures.

5.4 Participation of foreigners in education:

Role of the master:
The teacher may be relieved of the supervision of a group of pupils, but he retains responsibility for it.
External workers must have been authorized or approved.
They are placed under the authority of the master.

Parents of students:
Parents of volunteer and volunteer pupils can supervise pupils during school activities outside the school.
On the proposal of the Teachers' Council, parents can provide the teacher with participation in educational activities.

Other participants:
The intervention of persons contributing to education as part of the compulsory teaching activities is subject to the authorization of the Director and / or the accreditation of the Academy Inspector.

6. CONSULTATION BETWEEN FAMILIES AND TEACHERS:

The principal meets the parents of the school every school year and whenever he deems it useful.

For communication with parents, a notebook will be used.
