The importance of the smile in Islam!
Did you know that to smile we had to use 15 different muscles? Of course not, because there is nothing simpler than smiling. It will help invade our body with a feeling of well-being.
A beneficial well-being that will allow us to better understand infections and other viruses, a real treatment against sluggishness and other diseases.

Have you noticed, a smile frees us from our negative thoughts and we suddenly look more beautiful because the smile illuminates the face and makes it younger.
According to scientists, those who smile when they suffer experience less pain than others, research conducted by the University of Loma Linda in California, found that watching comedies increases the level of good cholesterol (HDL) of 26 %, which ultimately reduces the risk of heart problems. Laughter can calm an asthma attack or treat depression, so many reasons to smile and laugh.
But above all, the smile is Sunnah as the Prophet (Salla Allah 'alayhi wa Salam) taught: "Neglect no good deed, not even meeting your brother with a radiant face. [Muslim and Tirmidhi]

When you smile others give it back to you because there is nothing more communicative than a smile and our Prophet (Salla Allah 'alayhi wa Salam) was an assiduous practitioner of this language which is also a means of translating what, in us, remain silent.

Abdullah Ibn al-Harith said of the Prophet (sallallaahu'alayhi wa salam): "I have never seen anyone more smiling than the Messenger of Allah. [Tirmidhi]

A sincere smile towards a person can result in hundreds of smiles in one day making people happy and there is no need to have a reason for that.


Someone who smiles while speaking is still more pleasant to listen to, a trait of the character of the Messenger of Allah who did not deprive himself at any time of smiling while addressing his interlocutors. His joy, his optimism and his mercy made him a being apart, he never became angry or raised his voice, he was neither violent nor vindictive but gentle, patient and tolerant.
