Spotted hyena
The spotted hyena is the largest of all hyenas. Possessing a sable to fawn coat with black spots, the spotted hyena also differs from the striped hyena, with its shorter hair and smaller mane. Considered a scavenger, the spotted hyena is still able to hunt and can reach peak speed of 60 km / h. Evolving, both during the day and at night, the spotted hyena, which is often confused between the female and the male, because of its oversized genital organ, is a polygamous animal in a hierarchy, which settles at birth.
