Monkeys and animals of the class of anthropoids
Apes and anthropoid animals are primates that live
in the trees of tropical and subtropical forests. The difference between a
monkey and an anthropoid animal is often minimal, but important.
Both groups have hands that have one inch to grab
objects, and they can move on two legs for a distance even though most species
prefer to move in trees.
The majority are completely covered with hair. In
some species, parts have only a few hairs, often the face or hindquarters. For
some, parts without hair are used to attract females.
They are the most evolved mammals that animal
evolution has produced. However, monkeys are less developed than anthropoid
primates, also called great apes.
One of the peculiarities that differentiates a
monkey from an anthropoid animal is the size of its brain. This gives him
greater intelligence, compared to a monkey, of course. They have long arms and
short legs. They move on the ground with the help of their hands, leaning
forward. They have less thick fur than monkeys.
Monkeys do not become as big as anthropoid animals,
whose orang-utans are the largest arboreal mammals.

cling to the branches and help move them around the trees. Anthropoid animals
do not have a tail.
