Climate

PAKISTAN has a cool season from October to February and a hot season from March to June. The wet season runs from July to September. The cool season is dry and sweet in the south. During the wet season, southern Pakistan is subject to the monsoon regime, while precipitation is held by the northern relief.

Geography

PAKISTAN is a country in Southeast Asia, surrounded from west to east by Iran, Afghanistan, China, India and the Arabian Sea.

The relief of Pakistan consists of high peaks in the north, arid mountains in the west, an inhospitable plateau in the south-west, the Cholistan desert in the southeast and alluvial plains dedicated to agriculture everywhere else.
