He had a great place with his sheikh-may Allah have mercy on him-and when Muhammad ibn 'Outhtaymine's father - may Allah have mercy on him - moved to Riyadh, and wanted to take him with him, the sheikh' Abdur-Rahmane as-Sa'di - may Allah have mercy on him - wrote to him: "It is not possible! We would like Muhammad to stay here until he learns well. "

• And the Sheikh - may Allaah have mercy on him - said, "I have taken a great deal in the way of teaching science and presenting it to students with examples, and in the same way I have greatly benefited from him as regards the behavior (Akhlaq) because the sheikh 'Abdour-Rahmane -which Allah had mercy on him - had very good characters, he had a lot of science and adoration, he had fun with the little one and he laughed with the big one, He is one of those who had the best behavior I've seen. "
• He studied with Sheikh 'Abdul'Aziz ibn' Abdillah ibn Bâz -qu'Allah mercy him, who is considered his second teacher, beginning with Sahih al-Bukhari, as well as some works by Sheikh al-Islam ibn Taymiyah as well as some Fiqh books.

Shaykh al-'Uthaymine studied at home while at the institute and said:
"We were studying in the institute, we were sitting in class and a sheikh came in. If you saw him you would have said to yourself: "This one is a Bedouin among the nomads, and he has no science and does not pay attention to himself! When we saw her, she was despised and I remembered Sheikh 'Abdur-Rahmane as-Sa'di saying, "I left him and sat down in front of this Bedouin! But when he started his course, saw a lot of science coming out of him and we knew that we were in front of a great scientist and we really enjoyed his science, his behavior, his neglect of this world. "....

The institute at that time was divided into two, particular and general, and I was in the particular group.
And at that time there was also the possibility of "skipping a class" that is to say that we studied the courses of the following year during the holidays, then we passed the exams at the beginning of the school year, and if we succeeded we went to the next year, and that's how I was able to earn years.
