The eastern wolf, clumsily called the Canada Wolf,
is a species in its own right and not a subspecies of the western gray wolf, as
it has been thought. The eastern wolf may have a different coat ranging from
gray beige to black and even white. The eastern wolf is smaller than the gray
wolf.

The maned wolf is a South American canine, with
long legs and red coat, sporting a black mane down to the middle of the back.
Unlike other wolves, it's a solitary animal! Hunting primarily at night, the
