I remember very well my first day at school. It was a Monday. My mother woke me up early. She dressed me in new clothes that had been bought especially for this occasion. Then I ate breakfast that my mother had served on the table.

An hour later, my mother held my hand and took me to school. My fear increased as we approached school.

When we arrived, I saw many children in front of the school door.

Some, like me, were accompanied by their parents. When we heard the bell announcing the hour of the lessons, my mother let me in and went away.

I sat among students standing in line in front of a class. A gentleman came to us; he smiles at us. It reassured me. It was my master.
