the net, with my site Au Paradis des Chats, I made the decision to talk to you
a little about myself, without revealing everything, because the net is still a
virtual world , and I like to keep a little bit of mystery ...
My name is Régine, and I live in a small
village of 6,000 inhabitants, in the heart of Alsace. Beautiful region, which I
particularly like.
I was born a number of years ago, in June
(13). I am from the sign of Gemini, and the Dog in the Chinese horoscope.
My age ? It does not matter, through the
net, I think that age, color, religion, physical appearance, everything that
distinguishes us (and often separates us too) on a daily basis no place to be
on the net.
My character traits:
I am whole, I like things clear. I say
what I think, no offense to some. I cry easily, watching a movie, reading a
poignant text, a poem, a sad story. Too emotional? Maybe, but I will not change
anymore. I can be stubborn too, in some situations. I give, often too much, too
kind, they say, and it has already played tricks on me. I often have trouble
trusting quickly. I have a sociable side (this is the Gemini side that comes
out) that allows me to appreciate the contact with people, to go to them easily
enough. I'm a little perfectionist on the edges, and when I do something, when
I commit myself, I go after my actions and my thoughts.
- I like life, its good and bad. I think
hard knocks harden us, and hardships push us forward
- I like everything about the internet,
from near or far: hack on a pc, learn new software, I have an insatiable need
to learn, and I love it!
- I particularly like chatting on the
internet: the pleasure of talking to people we discover via the net, people we
may never have crossed in life otherwise, and with whom we are discovers
affinities, maintains friendly relationships, sometimes going well beyond the
net
- I like simple and natural people, who
do not take themselves seriously; I have a holy horror of people who feel
superior to others, and who always know everything better than you ...
- I like graphics: I put the nose in for
a while now, and I'm hooked!
- I like to read too: authors such as
Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark, Robin Cook, Jean M. Auel, etc. I have at home
full collections of author, and I like to re-read some of their books. I also
have a whole collection of books on cats
- I like things well done, and do not
content me very rarely with "almost", I'm too perfectionist sometimes
limit
- I like to make myself useful: to help
others, to the extent of my means or my knowledge, to help
- I like human contact: whatever the
color, the age, the origin, we all have a story, a life, something to bring, to
share with our neighbor
- my great passion, and that's no secret:
cats! An animal that fascinates me. Independent, hug, mysterious, I like everything
about the cat. If one day, I had to reincarnate, it would be in cat
What I do not like :
- I have a holy horror of hypocrisy and
lies. I do not like liars, cheats, profiteers, conceited, slackers, cheats
- I hate injustice (there is too much for
my taste in this world)
- I hate above all the acts of gratuitous
cruelty (against humans or animals), I do not understand that one can
intentionally do harm, without reason, it puts me out of myself, and makes me
sick, Everytime
If I could :
I would like to be able to stop working,
and devote myself entirely to animals, to cats, to have the means to buy a big
house, with an immense ground, to be able to fence a part, to adopt cats, which
nobody wants because they are too old, sick, too ugly ... and make them happy,
give them confidence in the human being, show them that not all are savages and
heartless. When I see the number of abandoned cats in a refuge, if it is not in
the forest, or simply dropped at the edge of a road, I am sick of human
cruelty, futile pretexts of abandonment (we move There is more space, the
vacuum cleaner is broken and my cat really loses too much hair, I do not want
