Summary of three horror films

 

 

As you probably know by now, I'm a huge fan of horror movies, especially when I'm tired and don't want to think too much. The problem is that in this genre you can find everything, from the very good to the very bad. Today I offer you my take on the last three I watched. afraid

Synopsis:

 

In an attempt to escape her past, Greta, a young American, is hired as a childminder in England, in a lost house in the countryside. Upon arrival, she discovers that she was hired not to take care of a flesh-and-blood 8-year-old boy, but a life-size porcelain doll. Alone in the house, far from it all, Greta attends events, each stranger than the last. Is the doll alive? It turns out that Greta wasn't just hired, she was chosen ...

My opinion :

 

When I saw this movie, I thought it was totally for me since this is about a doll story and I'm really scared of it. So no, I'm not masochistic but lately I tend not to like the movies I see because they don't scare me. In addition, because there is a doll, we also find Lauren Cohan playing Maggie in The Walking Dead and that I longed to see in a movie.

I have to say that I was really into it from the start. First there is this atmosphere that I love with this old house, this strange family surrounded by a secret. I was immediately caught up in the story and even had a few scares. It must be said that the story is intriguing because the son of the family is very special. But despite an intriguing film, I admit that I was still disappointed by the end because I found it easy, fast and sorely lacking in originality. However, I had a great time and I'm glad to have discovered Lauren Cohan in another register.

My opinion :

 

Since I have Netflix, I must say that I did not spend much time on films because every time I start one, I can't finish it so much that bores me, and especially when this is a horror movie. When I saw Emelie's summary, I thought to myself that I might like the story since I was a babysitter for a long time. Sadly, again that didn't work on me and that even though I watched this one in full. The story could have been nice but it was all too creepy and poorly written. The fall is as ridiculous as the rest and in the end, not only are we not afraid but we are also bored. In short, a film to quickly forget.
