Hello, welcome to Podcast Français Facile. I am going to read you two texts today. The first text tells about Sébastien and Léa's day.

 

In the second text, someone tells about his Sunday. I will read these two texts twice: once slowly and once at normal speed. Let's go.

 

 

 

Text 1.

 

Last Monday, Sébastien and Léa went to the restaurant. They went to a little Italian restaurant. This restaurant is not very far from Sébastien's place. Usually, when Lea goes to an Italian restaurant, she only eats pasta. But last Monday she changed. She chose a carpaccio. Sébastien had spaghetti bolognese. It's not very original, but he loves it. They also drank some red wine. Sébastien took cheese and Léa ate ice cream for dessert.

Then they went to the cinema. As the cinema is a bit far away, they went there by taxi. They saw an old American movie in V.O. And after the movie, they went straight back.

 

Text 2.

 

Last Sunday I didn't do anything special ... well, almost nothing. In the morning, I slept until 11 a.m. I had breakfast and went for a walk by the river. I saw Celine. We chatted a bit and had a coffee. After that I got home and watched TV all afternoon. In the evening some friends came to the house. They are friends of my parents. They come every Sunday to play cards. Me, I hate cards because I waste all the time. That's it that's all. They left around 10 am, I did my homework and texted, took a shower and after the shower, read a bit.
