The carnivorous animal feeds on meat

A carnivorous animal is an animal that feeds almost exclusively on meat. Often it is a predator like a cat that hunts live prey, but the remains are disputed by scavengers.

In carnivorous mammals, carnivorous teeth are made to cut meat from prey. Carnivorous animals are so because of their adaptation to eating meat and digesting animal cells.

The carnivorous animal is not necessarily a predator, the hyena is a scavenger and will settle for a body, before hunting small animals.

A carnivore is an opportunistic animal like the majority of animals, so a small meal of fruit or other food that he is able to eat and digest will not be refused. But as a rule, he will feed on a meat meal.

The carnivorous animal is equipped with the jaw, teeth, digestive system and other characters that allows it to feed exclusively on meat and get all the nutrition it needs.
