The word
"atoll" was born in the Maldives. There were reasons: twenty-six
copies of this kind, gathering nearly one thousand two hundred islands or
islets for eight hundred kilometers, with an underwater landscape considered as
the most beautiful in the world with that of the Red Sea and protected by a
rigorous ecological policy. The Maldives is a paradise for lovers of coastal
pleasures.
