This is also the case of Qatar, which has made sports a communication tool with the sponsor of big football club like FC Barcelona or Paris Saint Germain but also with the organization of the 2022 World Cup and the purchase TV rights by the Al Jazeera channel for major sports events. Qatar also launched in 2012 the Doha Goals Forum, an innovative initiative that leads a global reflection on the social issues of sport and poses for the first time the question of the political role of sport.

But there is a part of sport that can not be achieved through political strategies, it is the epitome of sport. The emotion of sporting achievements goes beyond all excesses and allows a people to federate. This is the case of the victory of the team of France in 1998 which united the French people, multiethnic under one and the same flag, the same identity without any political intervention.
