Visiting a film studio برجراف

A cinema studio is a building intended for the manufacture of cinematographic or television films, the sets of which, because they were invented for the occasion, or existing but unsuitable for filming, are built in this vast place, most often soundproofed, and equipped complex electrical devices and tools for lighting the tray (s).

A studio is a large enclosed, soundproofed hangar, with a large entrance to allow access to decorative elements, manufactured in annexes (carpentry, staff, painting workshops) and assembled for the needs of filming sequences of 'a film, located in a given setting, a setting called a stage. A studio can bring together several independent buildings, which can accommodate as many trays. In the days of silent cinema, several sets could be occupied in the same hangar by several film crews arranged side by side, the noises emanating from each set did not bother the neighbors, since the sound was not recorded.

Some studios are built on a pit (a kind of swimming pool) to activate special aquatic effects, with whirlpool machines. Most of the studios are permanently equipped with large and high "cyclos", a plain background that can be painted in the sky by day or night, or receive painted elements behind the "discoveries" of the decor (the openings through which we see another more distant decor, in trompe-l'oeil). These cyclos are now painted in blue or green, to serve as the clipping of the characters and the foreground accessories, during the production of digital effects (virtual sets for example).

Lighting is provided by projectors installed above the stage, on a grill, identical to that of a theater, centralized by a control panel, a control room where each projector can be switched on or off, and by any a series of free-standing projectors available according to the needs of each plan. The grill allows electricians to access each projector, in order to adjust and equip it (with colored filters, for example). But more recently, control from the ground by long cranks has been preferred to it, and even more practical control by servomotors, allowing lighter and less bulky grills (not practicable, that is to say without the possibility of (direct access by the electrician who may need to use a lift).

The studios still have an immense supply of props and costumes, as well as set pieces, which can be taken from film to film, with detailed modifications. From the earliest times, laboratories were installed in the real estate holdings of the studios, which only dealt with the development of films produced by the house. Finally, offices, both administrative and artistic, completed and still supplement their infrastructure today.

Nowadays, the majority of films are shot on sets which do not belong to the producers but are rented out to specialized companies.
